I’d like to thank you for visiting our new and much-improved website. I hope you enjoy the layout and find it informative and inspiring. I know I am inspired to make this the best season yet. We promise that Clear Creek Gardener can motivate you to try something new with your garden this year…..maybe it’s deciding to start some herb seeds in pots, growing fresh tomatoes and peppers, planting perennials that will attract good pollinators into the garden, planting a new tree, or deciding that you’re going to get some help it remodeling a tired landscape. Just writing about Spring makes me long for March, buds, blooms, and flowers.
Though it’s February and Punxsutawney Phil is predicting 6 more weeks of winter, it’s never to early to come up with a good gardening plan. Here at the garden center, we will be carrying a wide variety of heirloom garden seeds that are guaranteed non-GMO and open pollinated. We currently have Cat Grass, Cat Mint, Sweet Peas, and an array of Beans and Cowpeas. I have thoroughly enjoyed growing different beans in the last few years. They are some of the easiest plants to sow directly into the soil and to get a heavy yield from your efforts. What’s even better is the fruits of your labor are dried on the vine, and you can enjoy them at your leisure. I highly recommend them.
Our Tomatoes, Squash, Melons, Pumpkins, Corn, Peppers, Peas, Leafy Greens, Herbs and Flower seeds will be arriving within the week. I’m already getting my potting and seed station set up!

Spring really is right around the corner, so get a jump start on it. The days are definitely getting longer and I’m starting to see flowers buds swelling on trees and shrubs. Our chickens are also laying eggs again, and that’s always a good sign that Spring is approaching.
